Analysis Of The Economics Of Sustainable Development Of The Northern Shaanxi Energy Chemical Base

The energy consumption of world increases sharply since Industrial Revolution. Fossil energy resources such as coal, petroleum and natural gas consume promptly. The ecological environment worsens unceasingly. Specially the greenhouse gas emissions cause the stern change of global climate. The sustainable development of human society is seriously threatened day by day. At present, our country already became the energy producing and consuming country in the world. With economy and society's unceasing growth, our country's energy demand will continue increasing. The development of energy and the problem of environment are the universe problems which cause common interest in the whole world. They are also our country's important question of socio-economic development.The northern area of Shanxi in our country is abundant in natural resources, and its energy industry already had developed a lot. The base of energy's chemical industry in the northern area of Shanxi constructed from 2003. From 2007, it entered the third stage, which is named major project or implementation stage. As the base of country's energy and heavy chemical industry, it has enormous potential for development and the development of value. At present rich energy resources exploitation has led this area and even the national economic growth tremendously. But at the same time, the serious sustainable development problem has also appeared: ecological environment worsening, energy industry exploit ordering bad and exploiting equipment falling behind bring about enormous waste in the energy resources and so on.This article carries on the economic analysis to the sustainable development of the base of energy chemical industry in northern area of Shanxi, finds out the reason of unsustainable problem in energy industry development from the economic angle. Thinking that these questions' deep level reason lies in the defects of the model of economic development in northern Shanxi, which is the long-standing and one-sided pursuit of high economic growth in the extensive mode of economic development. Therefore, we must implement the party's and the country's proposes which take a new road to industrialization and the scientific concept of development as a guide. Concretize such value criterion and learn from economic development experience at foreign energy region. And mainly focus on three aspects: the innovation of concept, policy and technical craft.
