In the market environment of global economic integration, the increasing levels of competition and its order of magnitude ask enterprises to improve the market reaction speed continuously in order to meet the changing needs and increasingly personalized trend of development of consumers. So more and more enterprises are trying to solve new problems which they are facing by virtue of teams, which can help enterprises in the global competition to gain competitive advantages as a flexible form of organization. Meanwhile, the theoretical circles study the top management teams fanatically.This paper tries to research into the performance of top management teams from the view of cognition. It considers that organization commitment and organization citizenship behavior have an important influence on the researches of top management teams in China. Based on the study of literature and demonstration, the data were collected with questionnaire survey method from 34 top management teams. This paper makes demonstration on the relations between organization commitment, organization citizenship behavior and top management teams' performance, and analyzes the correlation between dimensionalities of organization commitment and organization citizenship behavior, and their influence on team performance. Results indicate that the level of the TMT's organization commitment and organization citizenship behavior are evidently correlative, and they have notable effects on the team performance. In addition, the results show that if independent variables interact, the TMT's organization commitment has notable effects on the team performance, but organization citizenship behavior influences the team performance unconspicuously.The results of this paper have important practical meaning to the improvment of top management teams'performance. At last this paper brings forward some suggestions and countermeasures for how to improve the performance of top management teams, and analyzes its localization and the follow-up research directions.
