As one of parts of engine, turbocharger is currently applied to power plant such as engineering machinery, vehicles, to enhance power, decrease exhaust pollution and energy consumption. It is fast development of society, strict limitation of all kinds of standard and regulations, short supply of energy, as well as the upgrade of exhaustion of standard in vehicle industry that make Turbocharger Industry is influenced and also get the opportunity to grow rapidly, in other words, turbocharger industry enter into its golden era.As a small Chinese-Japanese joint-venture business, M corporation introduced advanced technology of turbocharger to produce middle and small size of turbochargers, it is a market follower when it participated in the fierce competition. How to exist in the initially formed markets configuration and survive the fierce competition and even reach the growth target, so, making the development strategy is critical at this moment. Through the analysis in this article, we conclude that consolidate the resources, use its advantages, position business properly and seize market opportunities to fast expand market share is the choice of company strategy.From the viewpoint of industry life cycle, with summarizing the growth stage for turbocharger industry in Chinese market, forecasting industry future and defining the market competitive configuration as well as market trend, this article carefully consider environment of M corporation and find the feasible proposals for strategy development, and make its strategic position and plan strategy stages by method of CSF(critical success factor) and IE (interior-exterior) matrix. Under the instruction of the theory of competitive strategy, the core of company strategy is cost focus, furthermore, due to the current situation, this article explain strategy implementation from the viewpoints of marketing, product structure, supply chain management, and strategic cooperative partner etc., and instruct the business operation with the theory of strategic development. This article could be referred by the business with similar industry stage and environment.
