Since 1978, scale of Business for International Engineering Project has been enlarged increasingly. Competition abilities of domestic enterprises enhance notably. Treating risks on International Engineering Project correctly to improve contractors'earning power is one of issues to be solved urgently.As a fresh management science, Project risk management, enjoys unique advantage. In western and Asian developed countries, as a very important managerial system, risk management has achieved positive effects. Although risk management came to China shortly, the studies of it are more and more passionate. However, for conducting project management through utilization of risk management theory and methodology, less has been done by domestic enterprises.This thesis carried out a research of method and application for the engineering project risk management: Primarily, introduced classification and characteristics of project risks, process, basic principle and present research situation; Secondly, introduced risk identify methods, the evaluation methods and several countermeasures. Then, given Pakistan Nandipur Gas Turbine Project as an example, using Delphi method, identified risks and evaluated the risk according to the questionnaire result, after that, provided countermeasure against corresponding risk.Based on one of international power plant project together with project practices, this thesis identified, evaluated and ranked risk factors. Furthermore, it provided one completed solution based on analysis of how such factors may working, how to dealing with them. Therefore, this thesis provided a new thought on domestic enterprises managing international engineering projects risks. For such kind of projects, procedure and method provided by this thesis have rather reference value.
