The research work of the thesis plays an important implementation of VMI program for enterprise, both theoretically and practically.First of all, this thesis gives an overall introduction of Vendor Managed Inventory(VMI), then takes self managed inventory mode of A enterprise. This thesis importantly introduces A enterprise's existing situation and resolvent to under take the VMI program, then takes analysis of effect from the VMI program. In the end the thesis takes summation and direction of next research.This thesis is also on the implementation of the performance indicators before and after VMI (the proportion of stagnant inventory, inventory turnover days, the amount of inventory) for a detailed analysis of the calculation, which is an innovation of this thesis.
