Marx's Rent Theory And China's Rural Land System Reform

Marx has studied differential rent, absolute rent, monopoly rent and capitalism ground rent creation etc. systematically, has analysed the root cause that ground rent forms under commodity economy condition and their general law changing and has revealed capitalism ground rent nature all round in "Das Kapital". Marx said that any form of rent are based on the premise of the existence of land ownership, then the rent is the land owner with land ownership and access to an income, which is under different social patterns common ground rent. But the rent is a social history, under different society form, is having the different nature of the content and form, reflecting the different nature of the relations of production. As Marx pointed out:"Analyse the various different land proprietary right history form, not belonging to the book range. Although the study of Marxism in the capitalist commodity economy under the conditions of rent, but there are many theories on the commodity economy, Rural Land Resources under the general law analysis, such as the evolution of mechanisms of Rent, the two differential land rent form, relationship between land ownership and rent, Land Resources Distribution characteristics and use of transfer of interests in relations, these theories apply not only to land under the capitalist problem, interpretation of Current Rural Land System Changing Trend of Land Circulation interest issues, but also have important practical significanceSince China puts the land household contract responsibility system of rural area into practice from 1970's, rural area productivity has got extremely large liberation. But in this one process, there are also many problems, such as decreasing the areas cultivated, unclear land ownership, land transfer mechanism does not strong, farmers'interests cannot be ensured etc. October 2008, the third Plenary Session of the seventeen Central Committee has passed "the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decides about that the land reform pushing forward rural area develops some major issues". And further on rural land, the right to land contractual management, strict protection of cultivated land and other issues have been studied and discussed to China's rural land system has brought new changes. For this series of problems, combined with Marx's rent theory of land rent under the market economy research and analysis, is China's rural land reform at this stage the basic ideas.
