Midsouth Holdings Group Development Strategy

This thesis proposes empirical strategy for big and middle scale private enterprises to breakthrough development bottleneck according to those basic strategic theories. Taking Zhongnan Group as an example, which is a listed estate and construction company, I try to enrich the strategic theories and empirical analysis as well as give some enlightenment to private enterprises in the same situation, especially those dealing with estate and construction.This thesis concludes 5 parts.Chapter one is an introduction. The theory of business strategic management was just introduced into China 30 years ago. Although those strategic tools of analysis such PEST, SWOT, the five-force model, SPACE matrix, Boston matrix, GE matrix and Ansoff matrix are quite mature, lots of private enterprises are still confused in using them to establish their own development strategy. This chapter initially proposes the significance and necessity of the problem studied. Then summarizes studies on strategic management in and abroad and those typical tools and manners of strategic study.Chapter two analyzes the interior and exterior environment of Zhongnan Group. Before analyzing the strategy position of Zhongnan Group, we need to deeply understand the exterior and interior environment through some typical cases. This chapter gives a brief description of the developing history, the interior and exterior environment, resources and conditions of Zhongnan Group, which helps to make the basis competitive strategy.Chapter three is about the strategy position. After analyzing and summering the interior and exterior environment and resources, this chapter goes a step further to clear up target location and thinking location of the group to every single unit.Chapter four studies the safeguards of the Group's strategy. The realizing of strategic target depends on comprehensive and careful safeguarding measures. This chapter studies the thorough arrangements of the Group and subsidiary corporations in strategic safeguard.Chapter five concludes the main content of the thesis and points out some new insights of development strategy in this area. Meanwhile, this chapter also brings forward some questions waiting for answers.
