With the rapid development of the global knowledge economy, the international market competition is becoming tenser than ever before. Staff training is one of the sources for an enterprise to obtain competitive advantages. Its importance has been recognized by more and more enterprises. However, in the specific training practice, there are still many problems. Sometimes, the training has no effect at all for it can not match with the strategic development of the enterprise or fails to satisfy the actual demand of the staff. The following consequence of this is that it reduces the effects and value of training for the enterprise and creates related waste of resources. Training need analysis is the core part in the whole training system and system processes. It plays a crucial role in the ultimate effect of training.In this paper, through studying on a large number of literatures about training need analysis theory and enterprise training, the author analyzes the current situations and problems of training need analysis faced by enterprises in China. Based on the theory and characteristics application of Goldstein three-level model, training need disparity analysis model, forward-looking training need analysis model and competency model, combining its own practical experience, this paper points out the importance of integrating training with the developments of an enterprise, simultaneously, with system concept, it builds up the system structure of training need analysis. Meanwhile, it intensively studies the training need analysis method and details in organization and implement. Finally, with a specific training project as the on-site investigation object, applying the system structure, method and process constructed in this paper, the author systematically carries out practical application, analysis and research of training need analysis and has achieved good results.Innovation of this article is, from the practical application of training need analysis, it fully carries out practice and research on the system and method constructed in this paper, under the condition of ensuring the scientificity and feasibility of the whole method process, it provides a training need analysis method and process which is simple, standard, systematic and effective, it has certain reference value for enterprise training supervisors and associated personnel in this industry.
