Radish Seed Water-soluble Alkaloids To Combat High Cholesterol Induced Atherosclerosis Effects And Mechanism Of The Experimental Research

Purpose: To exam the curing mechanism of Soluble Semen Raphani Alkaloids on preventing and treating hyperlipemia and atherosclerosis, and providing the credible experimental evidence for the medicine clinical application.Methods:To get 75 ApoE gene-deficient mice, maleness, 13 weeks, 22±2g weight;15 C57BL/6J mice, maleness, 13 weeks, 22±2g weight,all ApoE gene-deficient mice were divided into five groups by random number table method (the high, middle, low dosage group, positive control group, model group of the Semen Soluble Raphani Alkaloids),with 15 mice in each group and 5 per cage, they were raised by high fat diet;15 C57BL/6J mouse is blank control group members, they were raised by normal diet.Calculating the dose according to equivalent measurement conversion formula of human/mouse weight,each group of animals were given the medicine by gavage way according to the following dose in every morning:The high dosage group of the Semen Soluble Raphani Alkaloids 90mg/kg.d (Equivalent to 60g/kg pharmaco respectively)The middle dosage group of the Semen Soluble Raphani Alkaloids 60mg/kg.d (Equivalent to 40g/kg pharmaco respectively)The low dosage group of the Semen Soluble Raphani Alkaloids 30mg/kg.d (Equivalent to 20g/kg pharmaco respectively)Supplying 0.2g/kg.d Xuezhikang to positive control group, and supplying equal volume of distilled water to blank control group and model group by gavge way.Determining the lipid,SOD and MDA of mice at the end of the eighth week of their feeding.Results: 1. Semen Soluble Raphani Alkaloids can reduce the level TG,TC,LDL-C and elevate the level HDL-C of mice serum effectively.2. Semen Soluble Raphani Alkaloids can reduce MDA serum concentration and elevate the level SOD of the mice. Conclusion: Semen Soluble Raphani Alkaloids can prevent elevated lipid, protect the artery endothelial cells, and eliminate free radical, restrain lipid peroxidation, thereby resist the formation of atherosclerosis, it is an ideal medicine for treatment and prevention of hyperlipemia and atherosclerosis.
