| The new stage in the new century,in order to meet the need of the society and the modern times, the higher education in China has taken place a lot of changes in the educational philosophy, the educational content and the educational pattern. Putting people first and making college students grow fully and healthily is one of the aims of the higher education in China. College students'psychological health is a hot issue of colleges and universities as well as the society. Many experts on psychological health think that college students'psychological health should be studied on the basis of the freshmen's mental adaptation. As we all know, the freshmen's mental adaptation education in China's colleges and universities has many shortcomings both in the educational content and the educational pattern. The author of this thesis has been working as a college teacher for many years, and made a lot of research on the freshmen's mental adaptation in his college, which laid a solid foundation for the author's study of freshmen's adaptation education. The author of this thesis will study the problems of freshmen's adaptation education and its strategies from three aspects:The first part of this thesis will focus on the features and significance of freshmen's mental adaptation education in Chinese colleges and universities. Points out it has the pertinence, phase and urgency, etc.The second part will be centered on the problems existing in freshmen's mental adaptation education and the causes of these problems. Points out there are six greatest problems:Firstly, freshmen's adaptation education can't keep up with the times; secondly, lack of constancy and continuity; thirdly, lack of stratification and professional guidance; fourthly, hasn't aroused the enthusiasm of the participants fully; fifthly, the aim is not definite enough; finally, the safeguard mechanism is not perfect. Based on the analysis on the existing problems, points out the causes:the attention to freshmen's mental adaptation education in current colleges is not enough; the goals have be understanded unclearly; lack of in-depth research.According to what we discussed above, the author will make a profound study on the strategies to improve the situation of freshmen's mental adaptation education in the last part of this thesis. He will put forward the following five strategies:First, innovate the educational philosophy of freshmen's adaptation education; second, hold on to correct educational principles; third, broaden and enrich the content of freshmen's adaptation education; fourth, improve and innovate the method and thinking of freshmen's adaptation education; finally, improve college students' ability of mental adaptation. The author hopes this thesis will be helpful to the development and improvement of mental adaptation education in colleges in the future. |
