Zhu Law To Protect The Scriptures Adverbs Study

Dharmaraksa is a great translator of Buddhist scriptures in Western Jin Dynasty. The Buddhist scriptures he translated plays an important part in the history of Buddhism. His translation was close to the oral language of that time, which is the important material for us to study the language of mediaeval times. At present time, the study on Dharmaraksa mostly focuses on the textual collation and explanatory notes in ancient books, but is weak in the grammar especially the study of the vocabulary. The Chinese adverb of the mediaeval times is the important transitory stage that ancient Chinese adverbs developed into Contemporary Chinese language adverbs. We choose the Buddhist scriptures of Dharmaraksa as the material to study its adverbs, hoping to get achievements on the grammar and offer some new material for the study on the history of Chinese language.The thesis is divided into several fractions as follows:First.introduction. The chapter 1 contained Dharmaraksa and his translations, and the study on Dharmaraksa and his translations by people. At the same time, it clarified the reason of the topic selected and the meaning of research, introduced the research methods, the selective language and its edition, and explained the article style.Second, the outline of adverb in the translation of Confucian classics by Dharmaraksa.
