The Creation Of The Mao Dun Literature, Modern Economic History Perspective

The dissertation have had an analysis on Mao Dun's literary works in the field of modern economic history with the theory of modernization, displaying the socioeconomic changes at the aspect of retarded the progress of modernization. The article includes four parts:The first part analysed bonds in modern times of China and Mao Dun's literary works, represented by Midnight. The thesis expanded the survey of the flotation of bonds by the National Government, including causes of flotation of bonds, backgrounds, types and uses actually. And the thesis analysed factors of the effect on price of bonds, current affairs and melees by warlords had great effect on price of bonds mainly. The National Government took up non-productive melees of warlords in the mass of vitality which make it difficult to accomplish the modernization's taskThe second part analysed industry of modern times and Mao Dun's literary works. Firstly, surrounding contents about silk industry in Mao Dun's literary works, the thesis dealed with silk industry in the face of tragic reality under the full impact of word-wide crisis of capitalist economy, raw silk from Japan, nitro rayon. Secondly, the thesis explained interal and external pressures during the development of industry in modern China by match industry.The third part analysed country economy and Mao Dun's literary works. Firstly, the thesis analysed word-wide crisis of capitalist economy which destroyed sericulture in countries, including descent of output and price of cocoon, reduction of growing-mulberry and insolvency of country economy. Secondly, the thesis analysed country business and Mao Dun's literary works. By the depression of town business, the National Government took order with a series of problems inefficiently under word-wide crisis of capitalist economy, aggression from Japan, all kinds of taxations from the National Government and insolvency of countries.The fourth part firstly analysed revelations about modernization in China from Mao Dun's literary works. The National Government has been up against the legality crisis of the government all the time, thereby failing to comprise power indeedly, which been called modern nation. The National Government not only has failed to arrange all kinds of society resources in interior but also can't offer condition for modernity. The National Government has failed to resist a variety of pressure and threat from capitalist countries, which have aimed for pursuits and actions about modernity in China. Secondly the thesis analysed defects about Mao Dun's literary works: under the background of demonstration about social nature in modern China, Mao Dun's literary works had three shortcomings: reflected economy and politics excessively, rational elements keenly, absence of benign development about economy in modern China.
