The ancient Zhuang character and the Chu' Nom belong to the Chinese character system. Based on the theory of six ancient categories of Chinese characters, this paper compares the structure characteristics and the manage evidence between the ancient Zhuang character and the Chu' Nom .Moreover, it discusses the relationship between the Chinese character and these two minority characters. The paper,being the first one, references ancient One Thousand Characters, a Chinese children's primer in old times, and picks 400 ancient Zhuang character and the Chu' Nom form the ancient books of the Zhuang nation and the Vietnam. By using ways of contrast and ststistics,ande combining description and snslysis, this paper makes up the form insufficiency on contrast field on Chinese character and Zhuang, Chinese character and Chu' Nom, Zhuang characterChu' Nom, and supplys valuable materials for richening the theory of philology. Meanwhile, it can also give us some inspirations on how to compile the ancient Zhuang character dictionary and the Chu' Nom dictionary. Thus, it makes contribution not only for finding ancient cultural treasures in areas where Zhuang characters and Chu' Nom are being used, but for supplying collateral evidents to the studies on Chinese history, literature and uritten language.As brothers of Chinese character, the ancient Zhuang character system and the Chu' Nom system have many similarities on manage evidence , but they still have their national characteristics. They imitated the structure of Chinese character, so they seems to like Chinese character, but in fact, the natures of them are different.This paper contains four chapters and explains ideas as follows:The first part is the general introduction. First, It introduces the general knowledge of the One Thousand Characters, the ancient Zhuang character and the Chu' Nom. Then it introduces the researches of the Zhuang character and the Chu' Nom, especially the researches used comparative method to analyze these two characters. At last, it introduces the principle how those characters mentioned in this paper are picked and the methodology used in this paper.The second part is the analysis of the structure of the ancient Zhuang character. First, it divides the ancient Zhuang character into different types according to their structure characteristics and analyzes two of these types detail. Then based on the statistical data, it summarizes the fivecharacteristics of the ancient Zhuang language on the theory of creating character. Compared with Chinese character, the function of expressing meaning by Zhuang character are becoming stronger. In addition to, the special national phonetic characters can express their pronunciations and meanings directly, which makes them easier to remember. This chapter also concludes the four ways of reforming Zhuang character based on the structure of Chinese character.The third part is the analysis of the structure of the Chu" Nom. Just as mentioned in the second part, it first divides the Chu' Nom into several types and then uses some statistical method to summarize its characteristics.The forth part is the comparison. First, it compares the interior and the exterior of characters between the ancient Zhuang character and the Chu' Nom. Form this comparison, it tries to reveal their common rules on theory of creating character and the different national cognitive psychologies, national thinking patterns and different value orientations which exposed in the process of creating characters. Then comparing these two character systems with the Chinese character system, it discovers, during the process of imitating Chinese character and creating their own characters, the ancient Zhuang character and the Chu' Nom system have many similarities with Chinese character system, such as omitting tone and form, complication and simplification, standardization and unification.
