In Chinese, there is no grammatical tools for aspect. We always usesome words like "zhe" to indicate aspect. Being an obscurity to students,aspect particle "zhe" in modern Chinese is always of much emphasis inteaching Chinese as a foreign language. In this thesis, the authorelaborates"zhe"in syntax, semantics and pragmatics, which is differentfrom the Ontology research on "zhe" before. It mainly focus on teachingChinese as a foreign language and put forward some suggestions forimprovement of the system of teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage. Moreover, the author summarizes the existed results onOntology research on "zhe" and its teaching; finds out the errors andproblems appeared in the language material of foreign students byqustionaire and survey. At last, after the analysis of the languagematerial, the author put forward some suggestions for improvement oftextbook and teaching.Analysis of the error is a important investigation method in teachingChinese as a foreign language. The anthor first investigates thecomposition of foreign students and makes statistic analysis to them; thensummarizes the types of the error and gives detailed explanation to everytype of error. In order to further understand the problems in learningChinese as a foreign language, the anthor takes the elementary Chineseclass in CSU as research object, gives them a questionnaire by which shefinds the roles, characteristics and problems in learning "zhe". At last, theauthor put forward some countermeasures for the errors in teaching.
