Survey Of Children's Social Music Education In Nanjing Area

Children are the principal recipients of social music education and children's social music education is the primary component of the system engineering of social music education. As the material and mental civilization develops rapidly, children's social music education seems increasingly important in our social life.First in this paper,the concept , characteristics, contents, aims, and values of children's social music education are analyzed. Subsequently,the author points out the existing problems by analyzing the survey on training centers, teachers, and parents of children's social music education in Nanjing. Then a few ideas to improve the situations are proposed. Finally,a paper summary is presented,emphasizing that aesthetic education should be operated initiatively and self-consciously in music education with musicological aesthetics as the core, so that we could promote the development of children's social music education in China.
