Bi Yuan And Epigraphy

The research on scholar in the period of Qian Long and Jia Qing of Qing dnasty, which is plaled close attention to by many persons ,has obtained plenty of research achievements.However,it's just limited to research those scholars who are famous in the period of Qian Long and Jia Qing. Many people ignor the fact that many officers are able to be scholar at the same time. BiYuan is a good example. As far as I know ,the research of BiYuan is limited, some reseach is focused on BiYuan's textual criticism , documental arrangement, the print of ancient books , and excavation's protection. The research of the contribution to the study of Gold and Stone is ignored. Owing to this point ,the author chooses the words of "BiYuan and study of Gold and Stone" as the clue to discuss the relationship between BiYuan and the study of Gold and Stone.This paper is divided into five parts .The first part: preface .This part is mainly to analyze and comment the situation of BiYuan in the academia, Next, it is to explan this papet's objective and way of writing.The second part: BiYuan's experence and academic achievements.This part is mainly to describe the experience and give comments to the progress in academic research of BiYuan.The third part: BiYuan and the study of Gold and Stone.This part is the key of the paper. To begin with, it's to discusse the fact that BiYuan was to search gold and stone, write a book of gold and stone, and print the hand-writing book called《By Paul church fateh》. Then it's to give comments on BiYuan's contribution to the study of Gold and Stone. Second, by taking the book named《Hutchison Jinshi GuanZhong》, which is written when BiYuan was officers in Shaanxi province, it's to gather statistics of geographical distribution and kind from the gold and stone in the book, So that, it is able to discuss the distribution's features of gold and stone in the time and space. In the end, it's to analyze some fault words that BiYuan's comments about stone in Tang dnasty.The fouth part: BiYuan and Xi' an stele Museum.This part is mainly to discuss the relationship of BiYuan and Xi' an stele Museum. First, it's to describe the process of BiYuan repairing Xi'an stele Museum, so that make BiYuan's contribution clear. Second ,it is to discuss the relationship between BiYuan and the stone of Xi'an stele Museum. By gathering the stone from《Hutchison Jinshi GuanZhong》which exhibit in Xi'an school in different dnasty, and integrate the Diocesan stone, so we can know the general situation of stele which exhibit in Xi'an stele Museum in the period of Qing dnasty that belonged to QianLong times.The fifth part is a conclusion, to describe and sum up the whole paper.
