Analysis Of The Yuan Dynasty Landscape Painting Freehand

Chinese painting had been classified into different categories by different method-delicate painting, freehand painting and the method included both delicate and the freehand method. And the subject had always been figures, landscape, flower and bird. Ancient Chinese had created brilliant civilization and Chinese landscape painting which had rooted in this fertile cultural land, contains a wealth of cultural connotations. Certainly, "imaginative expression" is an important feature of Chinese traditional art. And had been the foundation of Chinese painting and aesthetic. Initiation of Chinese literati painting led to historical archivement of Chinese painting and had become the core of the aesthetic paradigm of Chinese traditional art. In this thesis, the writer tried to reveal the properties of methodology of'imaginative expression' in Chinese painting and transformation of it's humanity spirit though the analized of specific landscape painting works from Yuan-dynasty.
