The Obama administration has formally launched "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" in November 2011. With Obama’s re-election, the momentum of "Rebalancing" became more clearly. How to deal with the United States "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" will become a problem to think about. America’s strategy of "Rebalancing" is the result of the balance of checks and balances of strategic thought. The article mainly discovers the thoughts and strategies of the balance of power. Then it discusses two typical samples which use the balance of power stragy, namely "Continental Policy" and "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy". The general idea of the article is studying from the "Continental Policy" and then analyzing the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy". Finally, put forward China’s response to the checks and balances.According to the clues, around an introduced in the following points:The first part mainly discusses the theory and practice characteristics of the balance of power, then analysis the basic theory of the balance of power.The second part mainly discusses the balance "mainland policy" with the United States "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" compare similarities and differences. First of all, this paper discusses the British mainland balance strategy, including the background of mainland Britain for balance strategy; the implementation of the strategy of the balance of mainland Britain and characteristics. Secondly, this paper discusses the Asia-pacific rebalancing strategy, including the United States Asia rebalancing background; the implementation of the strategy of the Asia-pacific rebalancing and features. Through analyzing the differences and similarities between American and British balance strategy, analysis of the United States in the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" policy trends and behavior characteristics.The third part is mainly on the balance of "continental policy" with the United States "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" the effect evaluation. First of all, the effect of the balance of "Continental Policy" in Britain, including the UK balance of "Continental Policy" checks and balances the effect; The analysis of the causes of the counterbalance effect; The balance of "Continental Policy" eventually decline. Second, according to the United States the effect of the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy", including "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" of the United States now is checks and balances situation in China; The limitations of the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy". By analyzing the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" behavior characteristics and its effect, put forward China’s response to the checks and balances.Conclusion part is mainly composed of describing the turning tide "the Balance of Continental Policy", then analyzes the strategy of "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing". The bases of "Limited Balance" in the United States are shaken. First of all, the rise of China, India and other emerging powers, it has become an irreversible trend; Secondly, various strategic power in the Asia-pacific region, is through restructuring and combination and increasing autonomy and voice. Finally, the United States to strengthen the advantage "the strength" means maintaining alliances, this relationship is established on the basis of ally security threat, as long as China adhere to the road of peaceful development, the American military alliance will appear more and more is invalid. These are all weakened the United States the main factors of "power advantage". All in all, the current "force" in the Asia-pacific region is in the direction of the weakened the advantage "the strength" development, therefore, the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" is impossible to carry on for a long time.
