A Feasibility Study On The Project Of "Wuyang" Community Virtual Nursing Home In

Recently, ageing population has become a social problem for the whole world. China has had a fine tradition of respecting the elderly since ancient times. Family pension used to be dominant in the pension mode, however, with the change of family structure and population structure, now its function has been weakened gradually. At the same time, pension institutions in China have to face the facts of high investment cost and management cost, lack of support, inconformity with the traditional concept of dilemma. The increasingly serious ageing problems need to be solved urgently. A brand-new pension model--virtual nursing home then emerges as the times require. With the combination of the advantages of family pension and pension institutions, virtual nursing services can rely on the support from the community and the government to provide service for the aged just at home through a standardized information system platform. Suzhou is the first city to successfully experiment the new pension model, moreover, this new pension model has been successfully copied in other regions. This paper tries to demonstrate the feasibility of "Xi Yang Yang" Virtual Nursing Home Agency by analyzing the current situation of pension in China and Suzhou, investigating the market requirement of virtual nursing home services, making the construction plan of the virtual nursing home agency, measuring and calculating the economic benefits and social benefits of building such an agency.
