In the market environment with customer-oriented, rapidly changing, cut-throat competition,the characters of production which include personalization, low-cost quick response and perfect quality have became the very important elements of the market power competition. The traditional Mass Production, which was based on specialization of labor and the consequent fragmentation of work, and was doubly backed by the theoretic analysis and the realistic achievement, and often cited as the manufacturing "miracle" for productivity improvement, have sink day after day. At this time, the Mass Customization, which has been a manufacturing mode characterized customer-oriented and fully attract the attention of operational or administrational man and scholar as soon as is expound, is from booming to developing to imposing. Mass Customization has gradually become the great power to salvage and realize again prosperity for manufacturing trade,and was actualized in some very famous enterprises of USA and Europe. In our country, not only the study and actualization on Mass Customization is in primary phase, but also the analysis and cognition about Mass Customization is very unilateral, even is distorted. Based on the "Mass Customization and the reformation of manufacturing trade of Shaan-Xi and aimed at describing the essential configuration of Mass Customization, the full and systematical study on basic operational theory of this manufacturing mode is preceded.In this paper, the in-depth study on the evolution of manufacturing mode affected by three dynamic elements those are the advance of science and technology and the development of economy and the improvement of mileage, and the historical necessity that the traditional Mass Production sink day after day in period, which is characterized by personalization demand that is becoming the most important character more and more is performed applying the theory of systematical dynamics and economics. The analysis about essential tendency of the formation of Mass Customization in the backgrounds those are the shift of the customer-oriented and the alteration of the focal point of manufacturing strategy and the change of environment condition is made. The concept of Mass Customization which a body was composed by fore constituents,which are the prime principle that is the significant integration of manufacturing resources included human, organization and technology, the administrational and operational foundation which constituted by "large scale", "high category" and "common alliance", the essential character of production that include personalization, low-cost and quick response to the change of market demand, the fundamental goal that is effective unification of Validity and Economy is bounded. The type and actualizing pattern of Mass Customization is explicated. Based on the concept of Mass Customization, the realization of the Mass Customization's fundamental goal that is the prime organizational principle to significantly integrate manufacturing resources, and the actualizing technological road that sbodardiZation, informationaliZaion, modulariZation andqua1ity function development (QFD) are the central ways, the administrationa1 and oPerationalfoundation which was constituted by "large scale", "high category" and "common alliance", andthe key problem and itS antidote of human resource, orsanindion framework and advancedmanufactUring teclmology to actUalize Mass CustomiZation are detailed considered. Thecompositional system, establishing program and operation mechanism framework of MassCustomization enterprise are probed. The fact that it is realiZable and operational to actualizeMass CuStOmiZaion is exPlained through tWo examples, Which are the aPplication of customerinvolved designing program and module-customiZation.
