With the rapid development of the industry, human beings enjoy the convenience while consume plentiful sources. As a result, the environment that human beings depend on was damaged a lot. Therefore, How to broaden source, reduce consumption, and protect environment has become a common research topic all over the world.Starting from energy crisis problem, the author expatiates the importance of the energy saving to the consecutive development of economy in the world. Furthermore, through the analysis of the actuality and characteristic of energy consumption in electric power plants, energy consumption indexes of energy saving management in electric power plants is induced with nonlinear recursive mathematical method, and Inverse Exponent Nonlinear Recursive Forecast Model, a forecast model of energy saving target of electric power plants, is set up.In chapter four, compared the forecast of Mawan Electric Power Plant with that of Shiheng Electric Power Plant, the validity of the forecast model established in the thesis is checked up and the efficient practical result of applying Inverse Exponent Nonlinear Recursive Forecast Model is confirmed. In addition, compared with other common forecast models in chapter five, the distinct practicability and superiority of using IENR forecast model was further illustrated in forecasting energy saving target in electric power plants.In chapter six, the author expatiates the difficulty and the way of the Mawan Electric Power Plant to carry out the energy saving target forecasted by IENE forecast model.
