China's Foreign Trade Core Competitiveness

From 1980's, The Economic globalization and the development of free trade became an unavoidable hurricane. The participation of the international collaboration, improvement the favorable position in the international division of labor became the most concerned purpose that all governments are chasing. At the same time, to maximize their trade margin, to improve their overall competitive advantage, every country tried to use all kinds of foreign trade competition strategy to keep their advantage in the crucial arena of global economy.Based on the understanding and analysis of the competition advantage theory raised by Professor Porter, the author extends the concept of foreign trade core competitive strengths. As the most important competitive recourses and the most significant evidence of competitive strategy, foreign trade core competitive strengths are the composition of all superiority elements involved in foreign trade and global business. The core competitive strengths cover all the phenotype and recessive parameters, which have close relationship with the foreign trade margin ratio and the entire market share of a certain country's economy on the surface of the earth. The unique characteristics of the foreign trade core competitive strength exist because the different weights of different parameters. Based on prior research, the author defines a clearer connotation of trade core competitive strength, analysis the present core competitive strength of China, and gives some personal suggestion and opinions about how to improve the trade competitive strength of China in the future.Three chapters compose the whole thesis, 1. C1 -- General teratology analysis of foreign trade core competition; 2. C2 - specific case analysis of China foreign trade core competition; 3. C3 - suggestions of the improvement of China core competition. The methodology of correlation coefficient is used through the whole demonstration. Numerous graphics and data and specific case analysis of China are used in the whole deduction progress to support author's conclusion.The definition of the foreign trade core competitive strength and other related concepts are mentioned In Chapter one. The foreign trade core competitive strength is figured out to be the most important evidence of competition strategic and the main resource of competitive advantages when trade strategy decision is made. And the comparison analysis between foreign trade core competitive strength and comparative advantage and competitive advantages are made to figure out the contribution of the core competitive strength to the growth of national income. In Chapter two, the author analysis the all trade elements' contribution to the economy and quantifications relative weights of these factors in the overall foreign trade core competitive strength based on the concrete case of China. The present level and particular characteristics of the foreign trade core competitive strength of China are given at the end of this part. The suggestions about how to improve the core competitive strength of China are listed at Chapter 3. The author believes that the competitive advantages will come from the adequate use of the improvement trade, dynamic participation of the international division of labor and the intra-industry trade, and the development of the correlated industries.During my research and composition of this article, the warm-hearted encourage and kindly help from instructors, classmates and friends are always the strongest back on me.
