After Accession To The Wto, Chinese Enterprises To The Rapid Development Of The Strategy Study

To China's economic reform, the centre point and the key fact are her enterprises'reconstruction and healthy development. The whole history of economic powers in the world have showed a wide range of their enterprises' success in becoming world class companies was the premise of the nation's economic development. Enterprises mean economy and the liviing level of the people, which have been proven as an evidently truth not only for the economic giants but also for China. China had a basic and medium-scale industry system while her reform and opening poiicy being put in place in 1978. Twenty-two years later, In 2000, China ranks the 7lh big GDP giant of the world. However, China's enterprises don't gown real global competitive ability which may help China win a higher position and perform a more powerful effection in the world although the big number of enterprises. In the past 22 years government made great efforts help both SOEs(state-owned-enterprise) and private comparies on reform and development. Nowadays macro-enviroment of economy is much better than before. Government is engaged in two major projects in the following years: one is the reform of ownership of the SOEs, the other is the establishment of social unemployment insurance system. With the projects' going on, problems and controdictions related with the reform of SOEs will be settled and the operation enviroment of China's SOEs will be ever better than now. On the other hand, China's entering of WTO will surely bring lots of very competitve multinational companies into China, and in the same market and with the same national treatment, these foreign companies will fight the Chinese counterparts without any sympathy. Considering these changes, China's enterprises may achive the expected success internationally only depending themselve's internal efforts. They cannot survive the cruel competition if they only wait and depending the external supports. Facing the irrevocable chanllenges, China's enterprises have no choice but save themselve by themselve. Some new theories including quick development theory of enterprises is awfully wanted in that situation.This paper focus on enterprise quick development strategy study of China's enterprises after China's entering of WTO. Through reviewing and analysing the successful stories of world class companies, we find out that there are common models and ways lay behind any successful companies all over the world. Then the uneven evolution of Chinese enterprises is recalled and the enviroment charictristic and mission of China's enterprises is studied. Finally two major elements of quick development theory for China's enterprise is set up: periodical principle and key element principle. The two principles are detailed aimed to give China's enterprises some concrete instruction and support.
