On The Concept And Nature Of Technological Innovation

Technological innovation was first proposed by J.A.Schumpter in the first of the 20th century. In that time its appearance was in keeping with the need of the monopoly capitalist. Technological innovation was based on the theories about the relations between the technological progress and economic increase, discovered by Yadan Smith and Carl Marx. The study of the concept of technological innovation is the key to the foundation development of technological innovation philosophy and the theoretical system of technological innovation. Based on the development of it, the concept of technological innovation has been divided into there types: the economic concept, the sociological concept and the philosophical concept. The author has pointed the reasons of the poly meanings of the definition of technological innovation. One is objective reason: the change and development of technological innovation itself, and the relations between technological innovation and other elements. The other is subjective reason: the difference of the understanding of the technology, the intensity of technology change and the standard of technological innovation. Technological innovation is based on the knowledge innovation, and it is the stretch of the knowledge innovation. The basic characteristic of technological innovation is the first achievement of commercial value, whereas the basic goal of the innovation of the science and technology is to discover the law of the world, and human being use the law to found new technology. Technological innovation depends on the market and its purpose is to achieve the comprehensive benefit, whereas the use of achievement of the science and technology relies on the achievement, and its purpose is to obtain the academic research. The essence of technological innovation is not only the combination of technology and economy, but also the process of science and technology activities.
