Professional technical personnel is the core strength of human resource of aviation enterprises, so enhancing the construction of this staff plays a key role in the human resource development and management of aviation enterprises. This thesis mainly studies how to establish and operate the performance appraisal system for the professional technical personnel of the aviation enterprises. Firstly, it gives an overview to the current performance appraisal systems used by foreign enterprises and domestic aviation enterprises. Then, the questionnaire is used to investigate and analyze the problems and causes in the operation process of the current professional technical personnel performance appraisal system of the aviation enterprises. Based on the above analysis, the performance appraisal theory and an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method are applied. And a new performance appraisal system and an operation model are designed and enforced. Finally, some useful research on the selection of appraisal index, the quantitative analysis and calculation of the appraisal system, the application and analysis of the appraisal result and the error-avoidance of the appraisal in the new appraisal system is done.
