Southeast Of Shanghai City Distribution Logistics Park Site

For China, the logistics industry will develop most in the recent future. People have understood the two themes of modern logistics in our nation. One is the Third Party Logistics, and the other is Logistics Park. With the traditional storage and carrying trade concentrating on market and modern logistics, China government starts with enacting macroscopical regulation to encourage the development of logistics park. In many developed provinces and zones, logistics parks have been planned to build. For the instance, the city of Shenzhen and Shanghai have already their layout of logistics parks in the future.However, it depends on several things whether the logistics parks are really useful and covering people's need. One important thing of them is site selection. If we can select the site reasonably, that will do great help for the logistics companies to reduce the logistics costs. For itself, logistics park can catch more interest from the customers. Easy to build, but difficult to manage, which proves the importance of site selection. On account of logistics park being a new concept in China, we can find few articles and examples about it. My research is just about its site selection. By the help of materials in one research task about real logistics park layout, I try to solve the problem. Firstly, I make sure the function and demands of the logistics park through the point of view of system analyse. Then I research in how to select the site of it and some interrelated problems and hope to summarize some useful things.In my research, I mainly use the method of AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). AHP is used by many researchers in multi-factor decision-making. But it is seldom used in site selection of logistics park. In deed, that is a instructive attempt of my research. I wish my research will be helpful to others in the logistics fields and the logistics industry in our nation.
