Analysis Of The Economics Of Institutional Change Of China's Township Enterprises

Since the reform and opening, the Township Enterprise in China rises and has been increasing rapidly, and starts to become the corpus power of village economy and the important part in the national economy. After the middle 90s', the development of Township Enterprise begins sinking into predicament, which causes a harm discussion in the academic. But most of studies concentrate on reforms in property rights, structures of industry, management level of the Township Enterprise etc. However, the research on the process of the system change of the Township Enterprise is limited. In order to improve this study condition, this paper puts more emphases on this problem. Based on the theories of system changes of Marxist Political Economics and New-Institutional Economics, regarding the economic system reformation as the main background, the author analyzed the process of the Township Enterprise' system's occurring and changing, and tries to find out the regulation. This probably will do some help to the whole reform in China.This paper embraces five parts.The first part is an introduction. In this part, the author points out the realistic meaning and theories value of this paper. At the meanwhile, the author also introduces the research's emphasizes point and the method used in this paper.In the second part, the author overviews the main system changes theories of Marxism Economics and New-Institutional Economics, which, in her opinions, are mutually complementary. So it's significant to compare and combine these two theories, so as to develop and rich the theory of system changes. And the researchers will probably be inspired to study the system change of the Township Enterprise in China.In the third part, the author established an analytical framework to study the change of Enterprise's system. First is the introduction on the meaning of Enterprise's system and Enterprise's system change. Then she analyses the subjective and objective factors, which affect the system changes of enterprises. Finally, in brief, she discusses the general system forms that enterprises have experienced.In the forth part, the author analyzed the process of system changes of Chinese Township Enterprises, using the framework established in the third part. First, the author reviewed the development history of Chinese Township Enterprises. Then, she analyzed the three stages of Chinese Township Enterprises usually have passed, which are the collective system, contract system or lease system, hare-holding co-operative system and hare- holding system. And then she summarized the characteristics that Chinese Township Enterprises presented in the course of its system changes. Finally, she probed the tendency of system changes of Chinese Township Enterprises, taking Sunan township enterprises as an example of.The fifth part is a conclusion. The author pointed out that it is of significant meaning for Chinese whole system change to study the system changes of Township Enterprises.
