America had allied with Pakinstan in order to deal with the Soviet for the Cold War spread to the South Asia in 40 years or so after the Second World War. However the development of the relation between India-America was affected seriously and made India went toward the Soviet gradually by the relation of America-Pakinstan .So America had maintained an unstable relation warmer and colder now and then with India due to the world environment then.India has become more important then ever before in American Foreign strategy because of the adaptation of American foreign strategy post- Cold War. At the same time America went ahead with India closely due to their respective need of the strategical development. And this made the relation trend to be continual and stable between America and India. However there are lots of hampered factors in the relation of America-India for there are some differences on some problems such as country's interests, strategical aims, nuclear weapons. All these will make it hard and strenuous to develop the relation between America and India. It will bring an important effect on the whole Asia, especial China that the relation develop and change between America and India. On one hand it will make it more complicated to develop the relation of America桟hina for it adds to a lot of factors which are not permanent. On another hand it will also lead the competition of India-China to be harder. All these make it an important and worthy work to begin to do and emphasize on the research of the relation between America and India.
