Protection Of Land Resources And Sustainable Land Use

The thought of sustainable development has been adopted by all kinds of fields since the concept came into being. The sustainable development through economic, society, population, resource and environment is the key issue that our government is facing in 21st. Just under such a situation, the author puts the problem of land resource protection and land sustainable use into his field. The theory part of this paper is developed by two clues: firstly, starting from the concept of land resource protection, the author establishes the fundamental theories of land recourse protection, which are theory of land scarcity, the theory of sustainable development, and the theory of ecosystem balance. Secondly, by means of reviewing the theory of sustainable development, the author analyses the relation between land resource protection and land sustainable use. Furthermore, he puts forward practical measures to reach the aim of land protection. The demonstration part of this paper is focused on the city of Wuhan. On the basis of analyzing the present land use structure in Wuhan city, the author emphasizes on those problems of how to realize land sustainable use and cultivated land protection.
