The dual economy structure is the typical feature of the Chongqing's system of national economy, and is the major obstacle of Chongqing economic growth. To realize the transformation of Chongqing's dual economy structure is the major task of Chongqing's industrialization and modernization. The domestic and international many years' practice tells us that the transformation of dual economy structure must be based on the actual condition of homeland and the local region, and avoid copying the pattern of other countries completely. Therefore, to explore a thinking of transforming Chongqing's dual economic structure, it is necessary to study the problems of Chongqing's dual economy structure deeply and systematically.This paper first makes a division for Chongqing's dual economy structure, then analyzes the present situation, causes of formation as well as the transformation conditions of Chongqing's dual economy structure emphatically, and points out the outstanding problems in Chongqing's dual economy structure, and then carries out a relatively deep anatomy for these problems. Additionally the paper analyzes the influence of entering WTO upon Chongqing's dual economy structure.
