With the continuous development of world economic integration, there are more and more transnational corporations and joint ventures arising in China. And transculture management has therefore become an important issue. As China entered WTO, the market in China will attract more and more foreign companies to invest in China. Joint venture is the main approach to attract foreign direct investment in China, they will create economic miracle and also management dilemma at the same time.On the surface, joint venture is the "joint" of capital, technology, commodity, labor and management. However, its internal connotation is the collision, conflict, and integration of different cultures. It is the "joint" of cultures. To set up a joint venture company is not only to join capital together. It is more important to integrate the thoughts, cultures and systems of both parties.In joint venture, people who come from different social systems and different culture background will bring about culture difference. Yet the objective reality of culture difference will undoubtedly cause culture friction and culture conflict between different cultures. Different culture will affect directly policy formulation and employee behavior of the company. For this reason, tansculture management has become one of the key factors to the success or failure of a joint venture. It has also aroused more and more general concern gradually.As China entered WTO, foreign transnational corporations are rushing into China in large numbers. And also there will be a greater development of joint venture in quantity and in scale. Accompanied by intense integration of different cultures, crosscultue conflict has gradually become an obvious issue in joint venture. And it is very important for joint venture to strengthen transculture management and accomplish culture integration and coordination between culture and economy.
