Study Of Modern Information Technology, Supply Chain Systems In The Retail Sector Applications

There always exists the logistics in the development of our country's economy, but under the influence of the "vertical system", when the managerial system of the logistics is set up, the existence of its system is often neglected and the over control realized according to the vertical principle of the administration. In the modern production, the logistics constitutes a process of the integrated economy functioning where exists the internal relations, mutual condition and influence among all of the links such as the transport, storing ,packaging, loading and unloading, distribution processing, logistics information , etc .And the internal relation, mutual condition and influence is based on the market functioning systems, specialization and socialization. Based on the evolution o our country's retailing and the formation of the supply chain, the article points out that the logistics, as a circulative industry, is uninterruptedly developing alongside the continuous, creative management of our country's retailing; meantime, the development of the logistics has improved the organization of the business and raised its efficiency, reduced management costs and strengthened the competitive power of the enterprises.However, we ought to recognize that because of the low efficiency of our country's social circulation and the low level of the development of our country's logistics industry, there are still some problems for the application of the modern information technology as follows: (1) Our application of the information technology is low-level; (2) The application of the bar code is in advance, but its universal degree can't meet the demand of the development of the logistics; (3) Our application of the EDI is very limited and the logistics information-sharing mechanism among the enterprises has not shape up ; (4) The network technology does remain in an initial stage ; (5) There are a few enterprises which are using various systems of integrated software for optimizing the disposition of the logistics operation. After his study of the causes of the above-mentioned problems, the author of the article put forward the thinking to resolve the problems: (1) to eliminate information "isolated islands" and raise the value of the information in the whole supply chain. The key point it to make the information standardized and normalized; (2) The government must study and formulate a plan and working project as quickly as possible in order to eliminate the phenomenon of "two pieces of skin " that is government administration of the informationalization, the information service and the enterprise informationalization; (3) to strengthen the development and application of the information technology in the logistics realm; (4) to make an intensified training of technicians.
