While the market economy is developing rapidly, the standard of people's living is also improving, China's entry to the world trade organization (WTO) and the economy globalization, the aluminum process trade of China is getting prosperous every day. Huaxi aluminum limited company (HXALC) is one of the enterprises in aluminum process trade. It is facing good opportunities of developing and tremendous pressure and threats. For Huaxi aluminum limited company can catch the opportunities, avoid threats, give play to the enterprise advantage, overcome disadvantage, it can exist and develop in keen competition of the market .The author tries to use the enterprise strategy theory and market competitive theory and the method of strategic management to study developing of Huaxi aluminum limited company on the basis of present situation of HXALC.HXALC is a typical state-owned enterprise. It has many similarities to many other state-owned enterprises both internally and externally. The study of its strategies will enlighten us to settle the problem of how to compete with other state-owned enterprises, adapt to changes and achieve developments. At the same time, its study of the enterprise in aluminum foil trade development and competition has use function of reference.The author analyses present situation of HXALC according to its external environment (macroeconomic environment, industry environment and competitive environment), its internal environment (resource, ability and major competitive ability). The article consists of 5 chapters.Chapter One includes 3 parts. They have HXALC's the background of development, put forward the reason of studying its development strategy and strategic theory. Chapter Two includes 3 parts, too. They have macroeconomic environment analysis, industry environment analysis and EFE.Chapter Three includes 4 parts. They have the company status, HXALC's internal advantage, HXALC's internal weakness and IFE.Chapter Four includes 3 parts. They are strategic goal, selection strategic programming and strategic programming construction.Chapter Five includes 2 parts. They are strategic execution and interrelation problem about strategic execution.The contribution of this thesis lies in its practical research method, it applies the strategic management knowledge to specific enterprise, it thoroughly analyses a great quantity of data put foreword by HXALC's developing strategy.
