Applied Research On Occupational Safety And Health Management System (of Oshms)

Objective & Significance:After ISO9000 & ISO14000 (Quality management system & Environment management system) had been applied successfully in Chinese industry and other organizations, Occupational safety & health management system (OSHMS) had been introduced into China in the year of 2001. OSHMS is a standardization management system. Organization can improve safety & health management performance by applying OSHMS,and can achieve the purpose of stuff safety & health safeguard and occupational disease decrease. Logical Framework:The study object of this paper is the content of OSHMS and the process of the OSHMS application in the instruction corporation. Author analyzes how to establish occupational safety and health management system in the instruction corporation, and how to apply the management criterion in dissimilar organization. By this way, the author tries to search for a right technique to set up a suitable occupational safety and health management system in different organization.Main Content & Viewpoint:This paper introduces the development of OSHMS, the main content of OSHMS, the characteristic of OSHMS. Besides, this paper analyzes the information of the instruction corporation, the OSHMS environment of this corporation, find out the strength and weakness of the OSHMS in the instruction corporation. Furthermore, according to the implement process details in the corporation, the author expatiates the way of how to establish effective OSHMS. The implementation include: preparation of the OSHMS, estimate ofstatus quo, harm distinguish, risk appraise, risk control, plan of OSHMS, system documentary compiled, OSHMS implemented. At the end of this article, the author evaluates the performance of the OSHMS in the instruction corporation.Main contribution: This article ties up with practice. For OSHMS has applied in China not so long and most work of OSHMS consultant firms and organizations are still in probe, this article's analysis and discussion do active significance to other enterprises and organizations on how to found a effective OSHMS. Here we still should say is that the data that the author has collected is valuable, especially in the phase that correlative data is so difficulty to collect.
