The expenses what the failure pays out become bigger and bigger. Therefore the enterprises have to pay more attention about quality of product and service, because the quality has become a key factor which will definitely increase the profit on the sale. Even as the famous American quality management expert, Dr. J. M. Juran said, "The 21st century is a quality century". To face up the quality challenge has become an issue of common interest all over the world. The ISO 9000-family of international quality standards has earned a global reputation as the basis for establishing quality management and quality assurance systems. It is widespread adoption in the Western countries, and has achieved a remarkable success. After China put to use the ISO 9000-family standards in 1992, ISO 9000 quality system third-party certification developed quickly. So if Hongta Group implements the ISO 9000-family standards and obtains certification, it will help her to occupy the advantage of elevated ground of market and quality, act in accordance with international usages, take her more place in the world, accomplish her own business goals of being a member of the best 500 enterprises in the world.This paper is based on the investigation and study of the quality system of Hongta Group. We hope the paper can help other enterprises to establish, improve the ISO 9000 quality system and better the quality management.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the general situation of the ISO 9000 -family standards, including its birth, evolution, contents and characteristics and its current status of its application worldwide. The second chapter discusses the necessity of Hongta Group to implement the ISO 9000- family standards. Also in this chapter, it analyses the great significance to improve quality management level by implementing ISO 9000 and obtaining certification in China.The third chapter introduces the way of Hongta Group establishing quality system, and explores some methods to overcome difficulties in this course. In this chapter, it introduces the essential content of Hongta Group quality system, analyzes the steps and methods and characteristics which Hongta Group implements the ISO 9000-family standards. It also puts forward concrete ways with selecting an accredited consultation or certification body, performing management review of system, controlling quality document, which is the difficulty in establishing the quality system.The fourth chapter is the main part of this paper. Some effects and experiences of Hongta Group are listed and expounded since it has obtained the ISO 9000 certificate. Some opinions of consummating Hongta Group quality system are brought forward for Hongta Group on the basis of analyzing the weakness in thequality system at present. In the chapter we sum up Hongta Group's experiences as follows: the common interest of all staff, the highly value from leaders, effective training, seek the truth in the study of facts, etc. And the opinions of consummating Hongta Group quality system are as follows: establishing encouragement and supervision mechanism, strengthening enterprise culture, strengthening application in statistics, using "5S" as an assistant method, making use of ERP to establish quality management information systems, strengthening validity of quality system, implementing ISO 9004 standard, etc.The fifth chapter focuses on the characteristics of ISO 9000:2000 family standards, analyses the difficulties and emphases on transition to the ISO 9000:2000 standards of Hongta Group quality system. And it discusses the incorporate development of ISO 9000 and ISO14000. |
