Ethnic Relations And Development

This thesis is based on the fieldwork of XiangXi city, in HuNan province.Guided with " ethnic relationship " theory , it focuses on describing the ethnic relationship of the different history period on the TujiaZu and the MiaoZu.This thesis operated all history style from the old Qing to the socialist market economy period , divided six chapter, explicate the ethnic relationship of the TujiaZu and the MiaoZu.The thesis consists of sever sections. In section 1, "introduction", the author introduces the ethnic department , the geographical position , the native resource, the social history in the Xiangxi state.In section 2, that is chapter 1. it concludes the basis of the TujiaZu and the MiaoZu and the name of the TujiaZu and the MiaoZu; the TujiaZu and MiaoZu in XiangXi area and their relationship with other ethnic from the Qing period to the Tang and Song period; the Tujiazu and Miaozu in XiangXi area and their relationship with other ethnic in Yuan and Ming dynasty period; the TuJia and Miaozu in XiangXi area and their relationship with other ethnic in Qing dynasty period; the Tujiazu and Miaozu in Xiangxi area and their relationship with other ethnic from the tar war to the XinHai revolution period.In section 3, that is chapter 2. the author explicate the beginning of building the new ethnic relationship in xiangxi area. It concludes the liberation in xiangxi area and the establishment of the people power;destroy bandit and territorial campaign; enforce the ethnic part self-government ;the ethnic policy of three great transformation in xiangxi area; identify tujiazu and establish xiangxi tujiazu and miaozu self-government province; cultivate the ethnic organizer; establish the new socialist ethnic relationship; the trait of the new ethnic relationship in xiangxi area.In section 4, that is chapter 3. the author analyses the ethnic relationship of xiangxi tujiazu and miaozu self-government province when the people in xiangxi area built completely socialism.In section 5, that is chapter 4. the author tells the ethnic relationship of xiangxi tujiazu and miaozu self-government province when china were having the great culture revolution campaign.In section 6, that is chapter 5. the author describe the ethnic relationship of XiangXi TujiaZu and MiaoZu self-government province from the reform and the opening period to the socialist market economy period.In section 7, that is chapter 6. the author summarize the trait of developing the ethnic relationship and existing problem.
