The project manager is the core strength of human resource of software industry, so enhancing the construction of this staff plays a key role in the human resource development and mangement of software enterprise. Then a new-style performance appraisal system of human resource is set up, scientific appraisal index system is designed and rational methods is adopted in order to appraise project manager performance exactly.This thesis maily studies how to establish and operate the performance appraisal system for the project manager of the software enterprise. Firstly, it gives an overview on the current performance apprraisal used by the software enterprise in Dalian and some theories about the performance appraisal. Then the questionaire is used to investigate and analyze the problem in the old-style performance appraisal and find the causes in the operation process of the current project manager performance appraisal system of the software enterprise. And also the characteristic of project manager s work is analyzed . Based on the above analysis, the human resource theory. performance appraisal theory. an analytic hierarchy process(AHP) method and fuzzy mathematic are applied. Then a new performance appraisal system and an operational model are designed and enforced. Finaly some useful resarch on the quantitive analysis and calculation of the performance appraisal system in the new appraisal system is done.Its research results may be applicated not only for the project manager in the software enterprise, but also in other enterprises.
