Implementation of Computer Integrated Manufacturing System ( CIMS) in the enterprises is a gradual process, and effective accomplishment of this gradual process is also a process with high complexity. This paper is just make some discussion and research on the integration between the Facilities Management and Production Management function, which is somewhat simple and having high practical value in this complex process.Chapter 1 resumptively introduces the basic information about the CIMS, which includes the advancing background, meanings and significance of the CIM concept, and the structure characteristic, integration quality and the problems in the implementation of the CIMS. On the basis of this, the paper also points out the validity of the CIMS.Chapter 2 starts from the traditional Facilities Management and discusses in detail the integrated analysis of different functions of Facilities Management and its relationship with CIM. The main contents includes the concept, function significance, development process, different type of the basic functions, integrated analysis of the Facilities Management, and the concept and integration characteristic of the World Class Maintenance. These theories are all important foundation of the construction of Process-oriented Facilities Management.Chapter 3 detailedly discusses the basic theory principle of Process-oriented Facilities Management. The contents mainly include the integration foundation, concept, basal analysis, integration characteristic and integration system structure principle of Process-oriented Facilities Management. Apart from these, the paper also introduces enterprise system structure analysis and the description and construction of the basic model of system structure.Chapter 4 introduces the example of Concurrent Engineering and Facilities Management in XX electronic factory, and constructs the basic model of system structure of one important production department. And this provides powerful foundation and theory frame to the establishment Process-oriented Facilities Management in the factory.Combining the theory with the practice, this paper discusses basic theory principle and frame of Process-oriented Facilities Management. Although it is still in the discussion process, the scheme frame this paper puts forward is somewhat feasible.
