Research-based Risk Management, Corporate Investment In Human Capital

To achieve success in the age of knowledge economy, the crux lies in that whether the enterprise has its core competence. To obtain core competence, the enterprise has to invest in human capita. Comparing with physical capital investment, human capital investment takes high risks. Starting from the angle of risk management, the thesis constructs a three-stage model of human capital investment of enterprises, and does some positive analyses.Firstly, the thesis analyses the background of human capital investment of enterprises: knowledge economy. In the bran-new age, human capital is the key to obtain core competence. This also indicates the significance of this study.Secondly, the thesis reviews the origin and development of the theory of human capital investment of enterprises, and points out the problems that have not been resolved. This part is the theoretic basis of this study.Thirdly, the thesis reviews correlative theories, which contains the connotation and characteristics of human capital, human capital investment, and human capital investment of enterprises. This is the theoretic background of the study on human capital investment of enterprises and it's risk management.Fourthly, based on risk management (to prevent, control, and evaluate), the thesis constructs three-stage model of human capital investment of enterprises. The three stages are planning stage, executive stage and evaluating stage. The thesis analyses the content and methods of the three stages.Finally, the thesis analyzes present situation of human capitalinvestment of enterprises in our country and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.
