Zhenjiang Anchor Chain Factory, being the state-owned enterprise, is the first manufacturer which specified in flash-welding anchor chain products. Because of the lack of knowledge for Market Economy during the mechanism transition from Planned Economy to Market Economy, the Factory's operation was encountering bad time of continuous recession; and by the end of 2000, the enterprise has happened loss 15.70 million RMB and slumped into the unprecedented hardness. One key reason of this is the illogical product stmcture. This paper shall focus on the environmental analysis & market research of anchor chain industry, as well as some probe into the problem and technical advantage/disiadvantage with regard to the Factory's product structure. The paper shall also apply practical analysis on the product structural optimization with the comprehensive evaluation method of AHP that adopts qualitative & quantitative means, thus clarifying the due direction. With the final part of this paper, we shall also probe into the accessible measures for such product structure direction. |
