Reasons, why professional managers' issues appear, mainly lie in the shortages of incentive mechanism and tied mechanism. Sound with perfecting tied mechanism and incentive mechanism, one a piece of work that must be done is how to appraise the performance of professional managers.For the starting point according to what have said, this paper is exactly directed against the development course of the professional managers (POM), different definitions, the current appraised performance concept, current situation and trend of appraising etc. And then carry on analysis, survey and discussing. Make the POM' concept, intension, extend, element and classifying, and the concept, the character of the appraised performance of professional managers (PAP) to be clear. Distinguish several concepts that will be easy obscured at the same time: POM and entrepreneur; the appraised performance and benefit examining, assets assessment, financial affairs; PAP and enterprise appraised performance, general stuff appraised performance.Then the concept has discussed the development, representative theory and method etc. of appraised index of professional managers' performance (PAIP). Combining the above analysis, the paper make the development trend of PAP to be clear.On the basis of analyzing the post of POM, combining the setting-up principle of the index of appraising and the index system, the paper forms the system of PAIP, including personal qualities appraise index and personal business performance. Dividing from index type, the system of PAIP includes qualitative index of appraising, qualitative index of mark and quantitative index. Dealing and standardize the PAP at the same time, in order to form the index of efficiency type.The index of efficiency type after dealing with will be applied to the setting up of appraised method, drawing the integrated value of PAP. Combining ISM analytical methods, the paper carry on profound analysis to the result of PAP, and act on through feedback, in order to impel POM raise their own quality and training, make great efforts on business performance's raising, pay attention to their own good-will etc. then strengthen the diaphaneity of PAP, and alleviate problem of agent.At last, Combining the marketing inspector of certain state-owned enterprise 桟ompany of S, the paper try to test the appraise system as to this paper proposed.
