Multinational Global Supply Chain Management, The Impact Of China's Investment Environment

The cooperation of Chinese enterprises and multinational companiesbrought a great deal of advanced technique and experience,whichimproved the investment environment of our country. At the same time,the multinational companies extend their global supply chain in the newsituation,however there still exists many problems in the investmentenvironment of our country. These problems obstructed the fast andhealthy economic growth in our country. Therefore,it has theoretical andpractical meanings to investigate the global supply chain management(GSCM)of multinational companies,and analyze the environmentfactors that influence the foreign direct investment of multinationalcompanies. Those things have important meaning of improvinginvestment environment and raising the quantity of the foreign directinvestment that attracted by our country. Part one:The main points of this thesis Aiming at the current pressure of the economic globalization and thepresent condition of the investment environment in our country,theauthor applies abundant cases and data in order to give readers animpression of the global supply chain management at first. Then readersalso could know that cooperation relationship would get income andcommon development,when the enterprises in our country participatedthe global supply chain management of multinational companies. Usingthis chance,the enterprise must have abilities to adapt internationalcooperation in the global supply chain management. At last,the thesisdiscusses the problems of investment environment of our country,andputs forward suggestions on improving investment environment of ourcountry. This thesis is divided into four chapters. The contents of the thesisare as follows: Chapter one is theoretical basic part of whole dissertation. Thischapter mainly studies the theoretical foundations of SCM and GSCMand determines the analytical target and theoretical foundations in thefollowing parts. Chapter two is about the studies of cases. This chapter introduces theorganization forms about the GSCM of multinational companies in ourcountry. Since having analyzed a great deal of data and cases,there arethree kinds of common forms about the GSCM. They are outsourcing,Merger & Acquisition and strategy alliances. Chapter three, the thesis analyzes the problems of investmentenvironment. This chapter studies the influences of GSCM to theinvestment environment of our country. This chapter is not only theemphasis of the research,but also an important part which shows thevalue of the article. Chapter four puts forward the suggestion on promoting investmentenvironment of our country. Because the manufacturing industry has animportant position in economy,the government must settle the problemsthat the manufacturing industry facing now. Finally,the ways ofpromoting investment environment mainly depends on seven factors. Part two:The main contributions of this thesis Firstly,this thesis studies the investment environment problem ofour country from a new aspect. GSCM is a new research topic. Thisthesis combined GSCM and investment environment organically. Secondly,this thesis puts forward the non-quantitative index ofinvestigating GSCM and investment environment. This thesis gives upthe traditional evaluating investment environment index, and inferseconomic index that a country should have in GSCM. Thirdly,this thesis collects lots of data and cases to avoid unclearillustration and enrich the contents of the thesis as far as possible.
