On The Relationship Between China's Household Consumption Structure And Industrial Structure

Consumption structure is not only the main branch in consumption areas, but also an important part in social reproduction. It is the direct impetus to keep social reproduction, and it affects industrial structure profoundly. Therefore it is very important to study consumption structure and its relationship with industrial structure, so as to adjust industrial structure according to rational consumption structure; optimize collocation of resource; guide consumers to spend; promote production and consumption to develop stably and ensure the national economy to operate in a favorable and healthy way.Based on the explanations of consumption structure by many scholars, a theoretical analysis and summary on consumption structure in our country were given in this paper. Meanwhile, the evolutionary process and the variation character as well as the relationship between consumption structure and industrial structure were analyzed with the standpoint, viewpoint and method of Marxism. While demonstrating the relations, the article emphasized the influence of consumption structure on industrial structure and industrial effects brought by the upgrading of the consumption structure.The article was divided into three sections. The universal analysis of consumption structure was mentioned in the first section, which introduced related researches and part theoretical connotation, summarized the present situation of Chinese residents' consumption structure and recommended relations between consumption structure and industrial structure. The second section was about the transformation of consumption structure and the conversion of industrial structure. The transformation context and the evolutionary contrail of consumption structure together with the consumption premise of industrial structure conversion were demonstrated in a dynamic view, the effect of evolutionary on production structure was stressed. The optimization of consumption structure and the upgrading of industrial structure were discussed in the third section, in which, through explanations on the upgrading of both consumption structure and industrial structure, dialectical relationship between them was analyzed and industrial effects and broader space for industry development that brought by the upgrading of consumption structure were emphasized. In the end, from the point of consumption development, suggestions beneficial for accelerating consumption structure upgrading were proposed from three aspects of state policies, the microcosmic subjects and the consumers.
