Interactional and inter-permeative international economy made all of the world become a huge market. As far as manufacturing industry is concerned, this is an uncommon chance to develop further, but at the same time it bring forward new demand on competition ability. In order to survive and develop, it is crucial factor to change traditional management pattern and respond quickly to customer requirement. In the condition, we must make good use of the production factor-information, and make the exploitation and the manufacture of production form transparent business process based IT. Modern IT infrastructure and high performance application software are absolutely necessary terms to make it.Experience indicated, it may not achieve great benefit if we invested only in IT system, contrarily, information system of high specialization formed new information isolated island in manufacturing industry, consequently led to some serious problems such as "IT black hole". In this situation, it is in urgent need of integrating IT and business process, changing old process and building new enterprise management fashion. So, since 1990's, as a enterprise management fashion, business process reengineering (BPR) has applied widely to enterprises, integrating with IT. However, the effect of execution was discontented as mind. People sought after an answer to the problem, the matter came from two way: one was artificial factor in the course of execution; the other was immaturity of theory. So until now, the research on BPR has still been a hotpoint problem of management and IT trade.The integrating of IT and BPR solved effectively a series of problem as information isolated island, whereas, will BPR really bring dramatic changes to the enterprise? Why has the rate of success on BPR still been discontented? Is there better way to perfect enterprise process change? This paper will try to answer these questions by theory research and illustration analysis on the base of former research, and strive for new breakthrough.Relating common theory with given trade, the paper will enter upon the matter of fact of manufacturing industry, study the theory development and application of business process changing.
