Analysis Of Influencing Factors And Effects Of The Operation Of The Competitive Intelligence System Evaluation Studies

With the developing of global economic environment and the intenser of the competition, more and more enterprises start to introduce competitive intelligence (CI) and construct their competitive intelligence system, CIS for short. Accordingly, increasing attention is paid to the effect of CIS, as well as the factors affecting the CIS. The paper starts from expatiating the basis of CIS grounding on the system theory. Based on the finding of investigation, the paper divides the CIS into three phases from the view of maturity of the system and attention CIS has got, according to its representative features. Further more, it discusses the factors affecting the function of CIS in every phase. Then, the value of CIS and the direction of assessing is analyzed. The next step is to introduce the theory of Comprehensive Evaluation, and chooses the evaluating method that will be used subsequently on the basis of the contrast of several popular methods. And then, the paper deploys the evaluating process according as the theory above, putting forward the indicators system. In the end, through interviews and emails, the paper collects information from eight enterprises around the country using a questionnaire, and it penetrates with results.
