The thesis consists of thirty thousand words, and researches on the law consciousness of current peasants.Part Ⅰ. The position and action of peasants' law consciousness in china's construction of democracy and legal system. The section demonstrates that modernization of peasants' law consciousness is spirit standard and social synthetical appraisal yardstick and urgent demand of countryside modernization. At the same time, peasants' law consciousness modernization is of benefit to legal system's modernization construction and legislative absence.Part Ⅱ. The present peasants' law consciousness condition of different classes. The author chooses County Neihuang's peasants in Henan province as investigating object. To officials in countryside, managers in collective enterprises, businessmen and common peasants, the author provides 4000 papers consisting of 33 questions, takes back 3719 ones, and gets a large quantity of data. By manual and computer statistics, to some extent the result reflects peasants' law consciousness of different classes in countryside.Part Ⅲ. Analysis on problems and its cause of the current peasants' law consciousness. In light of the result from investigation, the author summarizes the problems in the current peasants' law consciousness, and analyses and probes into its causes from law, historical and social controlling aspects.Part Ⅳ. Concrete measures of realizing modernization of peasants' law consciousness. On the basis of above analysis, the author puts forward to some suggestions resolving problems. The author thinks that we should improve legislative, judicial and executive system of countryside, consolidate propagating laws and countryside basic education, and at the same time improve peasants' qualities. Only doing that, can modernization of peasants' law consciousness become reality.
