Ethnic Relations On The Pengshui County

The thesis analyses and studies the developing history of ethnic relations of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, summarizes the characteristics of Pengshui ethnic relations development in different historical periods, and also has a prospect towards the Pengshui ethnic relations in this new century. The whole thesis includes two parts, they are: introduction and text.The introduction presents key information about Pengshui , which are: geography, general situation, climate, natural resources, administrative setup of every dynasties, and ethnic survey.In the chapter 1, from pre-Qin dynasties, Qin, Han, Three Kingdoms, Western Jin and Eastern Jin dynasty, Northern and Southern dynasties, Sui and Tang, Song and Yuan, Ming and Qing(former period), old and new-democratic revolutions, it expounds the historical changes and developments of ethnic relations in Pengshui region, and explains Pengshui gradually has formed friendly exchanges' ethnic relations as a main trend, which is historical foundation for the form and development of Pengshui modern ethnic relations.In the chapter 2, it expounds that after the new China establishment, with the victory of democratic reform and socialist transformation, a new-style socialist ethnic relations has established in Pengshui.
