Township Government Reform In China To Explore

In our country, the township government is the last level organizations of grass roots in the government system. It leads guides and manages all kinds of rural activities and 900 million rural farmers directly. Its specificity has become the key point to resolve the Three Agricultural Issues, therefore arousing various academic attentions. With the proposal of a major historical task of building a new socialist countryside by new leaders today, the township government has become a key to build new countryside and the reformation of the township government system is imperative. Based on field investigations in depth, information-collect, talk and survey with the farmers and township cadres in two towns of economy underdeveloped Guizhou Province, the author has acquired understanding of the mechanisms of the operation of township government, the existing problems in depth and explored the reformation of China's township government.During the research, the author has known the current problems in the township government based on the comparative analysis of the basic operation of two township government.
