On The Generation Of Contemporary Chinese Rule Of Law And Political Culture

Market economy expanding and social political life transforming in China, calls the new sustain of political philosophy and concept of rule of law as well as the guarantee of corresponding system and program. Therefore, to implement ruling the country by law and construct socialist country with rule of law is the logic result of Chinese reform development, inevitable option of prosperous, democratic, civilized socialist modern country. But in China, the country that have deep-rooted tradition of rule-of-men, the chief task is changing the old political ideological cultural idea and generating contemporary Chinese political culture of rule-of-law to construct the genuine legal order.Synthetically utilizing methods such as historical analysis and comparative analysis, surveying idea of rule of law from the angle of view of political culture, this paper reviews traditional Chinese political culture of rule-of-men and probes the generation of contemporary Chinese political culture of rule-of-law both from idea and system. Hopefully these suggestions would be conducive to construct contemporary Chinese political culture of rule-of-law.Apart from the introduction and conclusion, this paper can be divided into four chapters:The first chapter is brief introduction of contemporary Chinese political culture of rule-of-law. It sum up the history of concept of political culture as well as that of rule of law and then limits definition and role of contemporary Chinese political culture of rule-of-law, which set up research foundation for this paper.The second chapter commences from traditional Chinese political culture.
