Public selection system of government officials is the significant achievement of officials personnel reform in new era, and introduce the exam to form an open, equality and competitive selection, official selection system, which is propitious to the outstanding officials coming to the fore and prevent unhealthy tendencies, such as the priority to the seniority. Public selection system of government officials as the novelty has existed more than 20 years. To be the critical point of government officials selection, the structured interview in public selection appeared later than public selection system, but it produced the good outcome in practice and has been accepted as preference all the over the country, also, it has taken the important role of driving our official leader system reform forward. But how fine the structured interview would be, which side has advantage, which side has disadvantage, whether can we prevent these disadvantages? All above questions are needed to be discussed and researched. So, this thesis selected the evaluation system of structured interview in public selection as research object, and try to analyze the implication of structured interview in public selection, and appointed many theory issues, such as what is the basis of structured interview of public selection, what is the principle, and so on. Basing on these and together with the current situation of structured interview and evaluation system, we put forward the strategic thinking to optimize the function of structured interview in public selection.
